Four divisions
for one and the same
load.
Lifting, specialised transport, workforce management and wind farm construction — operating as one, under a single contract and a single line of supervision.
Makro Engenharia
Lifting and cargo handling
This is the work the company is named for. From erecting tanks at a power plant to placing a nacelle 120 metres above ground, every lift begins long before the crane reaches site: in the load study, the radius calculation and the rigging plan.
The Heavy Lift division runs crawler cranes from 100 to 1,200 tonnes for large-scale industrial erection. The light and medium division covers 25 to 90 tonnes, with all terrain and rough terrain cranes for maintenance, planned shutdowns and routine in-plant work.
- Rigging plan and load study
- Industrial and process equipment assembly
- Shutdowns and turnarounds
- Critical tandem lifts
- Resident crew and dedicated supervision
Makro Transporte
Specialised transport and indivisible loads
Moving a piece that does not fit the road is an engineering project — not a freight job. Makro Transporte handles the whole cycle: route survey, assessment of bridges and structures, special transport permits, escort and delivery to the exact erection point.
The operation serves mining, oil and gas, refining, metallurgy, steel and wind farms, with trailers sized for blades, towers, nacelles, pressure vessels and process equipment.
- Route survey and feasibility
- Special transport permits and licensing
- Oversized and indivisible cargo
- Wind components: blade, tower and nacelle
- Escort and operational support
Makro Serviços
Workforce management and in-plant handling
Not all handling happens in the open air. Makro Serviços puts the crews and machines that keep material moving inside the plant: high-capacity forklifts, telehandlers, aerial platforms and gantries.
It is the division that takes on specialised workforce management — operators, riggers, signallers and supervision — to the same safety standard as the lifting operations.
- Specialised workforce management
- In-plant material handling
- Forklifts from 2.5 to 45 tonnes
- Aerial platforms and telehandlers
- Gantry and overhead crane operation
Makro Wind
Wind farm construction and maintenance
The Northeast became Brazil's largest wind hub — and Makro grew with it, to hold the country's largest wind farm order book, with 400 turbines under contract. The operation covers the full build: receiving components at the port, transport to site, and erection of tower, nacelle, hub and blades.
After handover the relationship continues. Preventive and corrective maintenance, major component exchange and fast mobilisation for unplanned downtime — with cranes sized for the hub height of each model.
- Wind turbine erection
- Major component exchange (major correctives)
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Transport of blades, towers and nacelles
- Mobilisation for unplanned downtime
Integration
One load.
One contract.
One accountable party.
When the four divisions work together, the client stops managing interfaces. The transport arrives at the hour the crane is rigged; the handling crew is already in position; the rigging plan has already been through the people who will execute it.
